congregational members in the electronic
community. With the amount of shared information
in this website (www.uucolumbia.net), the
operators of the site try to publish contact
information regarding its Congregation members
in a manner to keep it as confidential as
possible. JavaScript scripts are utilized to
create email addresses which help reduce the
ability of spamcrawlers that visit the website
in order to garner new email addresses.
For Congregation member privacy phone contact
information is rarely put on the site. When
including a Congregation members name in a
posting, an email address is placed on the page
in the manner stated above, if it is known.
Otherwise only the Congregation members name is
included. Visitors are encouraged to utilize the
UUCC contact directory, which is available to
Congregation members by contacting the main
office, in order to contact those individuals.
