On Sundays, if a snow
emergency is announced for Howard County by 7
a.m. (two hours prior to the first service);
services that morning will be cancelled. When in
doubt, please call the office at 410-381-0097.
After 7 a.m., the voicemail message should
reflect the cancellation.
For previously scheduled events
during the week, OBIC staff will work with UUCC
staff to determine the advisability of opening
or remaining open. Leaders of scheduled events
will be notified by either OBIC or UUCC staff
and event leaders will be responsible for
notifying individual participants. Leaders who
decide to cancel their event should notify the
OBIC office at 410-381-2000 as soon as possible.
When practical to do so, the UUCC voicemail
message will be changed to reflect such closings
and cancellations. When in doubt, call the
leader of the event.
